A shoulder injury could hold up Joseph Yobo's departure for the African Cup of Nations.The Everton defender was supposed to meet up with the rest of the Nigerian squad on Monday, but after being pulled out of the 1-1 draw at Millwall, that deadline now seems remote.
Toffees boss David Moyes had been keen to keep Yobo at Goodison Park for as long as possible before the tournament kicks off on January 20.
He is now likely to get his wish, as the 25-year-old is set to stay in England for medical attention.
"He had treatment on Saturday and is due more treatment," revealed Moyes.
"I can't see him being with the Nigerians by the beginning of the week, although you can never be sure what they will decide."
