Reading striker Leroy Lita insists he can be the answer to England's goalscoring problems.
Steve McClaren's team has scored only 10 goals in its last 10 matches and Lita, a current England U21 international, says he can make them more prolific.
The 22-year-old, who shone during the European U21 Championship during the summer, has yet to play this season after suffering a muscle injury while stretching in bed.
However, his 14 goals for Reading last season are sure to have caught the attention of McClaren, who is without Wayne Rooney and Peter Crouch for the next Euro 2008 qualifier against Israel next month.
"I can score goals anywhere and if it's in an England shirt that will be even more special," the Congo-born striker told The Sun.
"I believe in myself. I love scoring and can produce. It won't matter who I play alongside if I get a call-up.
"I like to score from all over. Most of my goals, probably nine out of 10, come from inside the box.
"England have a lot of quality strikers and I just want to be a part of it."
