Paul Merson paid an emotional tribute to his former team-mate and friend Ugo Ehiogu, who passed away on Friday at the age of 44.
The former England international, who had been working as an U23 coach at Tottenham, was rushed to hospital after suffering a cardiac arrest on Thursday.
Merson played alongside Ehiogu for two years at Aston Villa and was visibly moved when discussing his old team-mate.
"I am still devastated. He was such a top bloke it was unbelievable," Merson told Sky Sports News HQ.
"He was a man-mountain. You know what, Billy Joel always sings a song, 'Only the good die young'."
