Duo in for Under-21 debuts

ENGLAND Under-21 coach David Platt has handed debuts to Jermaine Jenas and Paul Konchesky for Tuesday's friendly with Slovenia.

Newcastle United's recent £5 million purchase Jenas wins his first cap after impressing at Under-19 level, while Charlton man Konchesky also makes his bow.

Spurs winger Matthew Etherington and Fulham defender Zat Knight could also make their Under-21 debuts after being named on the substitutes' bench.
