Tottenham captain Ledley King is confident his side will soon turn their fortunes around.Spurs have endured a disappointing start to the new Premiership campaign, picking up just four points from their first five games.
Following Sunday's goalless draw with Fulham Tottenham were booed off, but King believes it will take time for the team to settle after a number of changes over the summer.
"We've brought in new players and lost Michael Carrick," said King. "It can take a little while to gel.
"We're still confident of winning back-to-back games and climbing straight up the table."
Meanwhile, Jermaine Jenas insists he is ready to fill the boots of the injured Aaron Lennon in the Spurs side.
Jenas has filled in for Lennon on the right side of midfield in the last two games after the young winger was forced to undergo knee surgery.
The former Newcastle man is happy to play anywhere to help his side as they look to get their season back on track.
"I'm a central midfield player really but I'll play anywhere and I know I can cross a ball," said Jenas.
"Of course it's a blow to lose Aaron. We need him back as soon as possible, but while he is out, I'm happy to fill the role."
