Big club tempts Pedersen

Morten Gamst Pedersen admits he would not exclude a move to a big club.

Morten Gamst Pedersen admits he would not exclude a move to a big club, despite conceding he is happy at Blackburn Rovers.

The Norway international has established himself as one of The Premiership's leading left wingers since joining Rovers from Tromso over two years ago.

He was rewarded for his progress with a new contract in the summer and has been a mainstay of Mark Hughes' team this season.

But though the 25-year-old is content at Ewood Park, he revealed he would be tempted by any offer from a top club.

"We don't have the big stars like the big clubs in the Premier League," Pedersen told VG.

"But I am very happy at Blackburn and we have got a good side. But, at the same time, I don't exclude anything.

"Manchester United is a big club, just like Liverpool and the other big clubs.

"It is obvious that, if a club like that made an offer, I would consider it."

Blackburn had started the season disappointingly, but Pedersen feels there was never any danger of the club staying at the bottom end of the table.

He added: "We had a slow start to the season, but I was never worried.

"We are now on a good run and both I and the side are in good form."
