Kleberson hoping for England move

BRAZILIAN World Cup winner Kleberson is hopeful of finally securing a dream move to the Premiership in the summer.

The highly-rated midfielder was linked with moves to Newcastle United, Leeds and Celtic last year, but any move failed to materialise.

Newcastle, who saw a deal fall through for him last January after his club Atletico Paranaense refused offers to buy the player or take him on loan, are thought to be ready to make fresh moves to sign him at the end of the season.

The 23-year-old is keen to follow many of his international team-mates and ply his trade abroad.

"It is a dream for me to play one day in England," Kleberson told the Guardian. "I believe I am ready to take this challenge."

Kleberson revealed he has been informed all about England by Brazil team-mate and Arsenal midfielder Gilberto Silva.

"He talks of how well contested the matches are in the Premier League," said Kleberson.

"In Brazil the game is more based on individual skills. In England teams play quicker and with more tactical awareness."
