Rangers linked with Boro starlet

QPR are believed to be keen on signing Middlesbrough's Andrew Davies.

Queens Park Rangers are believed to be keen on signing Middlesbrough defender Andrew Davies on loan.

Rangers boss Ian Holloway is keen to bolster his defence and has been scouring the loan market for the last few weeks.

Davies is well down the pecking order at Middlesbrough and has been limited to appearances in the Carling Cup this season.

Boro boss Steve McClaren could be willing to let him leave on loan so that he can get valuable first team action.

Holloway is determined to strengthen his squad ahead of the busy festive programme and is hoping to push through a deal for Davies.
