TAYLOR UNHAPPY WITH FULHAM ROLE

FULHAM goalkeeper Maik Taylor has revealed he is unhappy at his current situation at Craven Cottage.

The 30-year-old, who was first choice at the club as they won promotion to The Premiership, has found himself frozen out of the first team picture since the arrival of Dutch star Edwin van der Sar in the summer.

The former Southampton ace has been relegated to number two and he has just played one game all season, a Worthington Cup tie against Rochdale.

The Northern Ireland international, who was instrumental in his country's 1-0 win over Malta at the weekend, admitted he was disappointed at his lack of opportunities at club level and he hinted he could be forced to leave for regular action.

"I have not accepted it," said Taylor. "I am not happy but the boss (Jean Tigana) wants me to stay."
