Curbs invites Lisbie offers

CHARLTON manager Alan Curbishley has invited offers for out-of-favour Kevin Lisbie, after making the striker available for transfer.

The London-born Jamaican international has made one start and a substitute appearance this season, but is yet to get off the mark.

Lisbie did start over 20 league matches for The Addicks last term, but netted a disappointing four goals during the campaign.

With Curbishley recently bringing in Paolo Di Canio and Carlton Cole, the 24-year-old's prospects of featuring have decreased.

The hit-man is aware of the manager's plans to off-load him, but is yet to discover whether the move will be long or short-term.

"Curbs has told me I can go if the right club comes in for me," explained Lisbie.

"I'm not sure if he means on loan or permanently - we'll have to see."
