Watford have signed Johan Cavalli, Cedric Avinel and Douglas Rinaldi.

Watford have swelled their relegation-haunted squad by bringing in Johan Cavalli, Cedric Avinel and Douglas Rinaldi.

French midfielder Cavalli has signed an 18-month deal, having left Ligue 2 club Istres on a free transfer.

Hornets chief Adrian Boothroyd has added a touch of Samba spice to his squad in the guise of Rinaldi.

The midfielder has signed a six-month loan deal from Brazilian side Veranopolis EC.

Central-defender Avinel is the third new face to arrive at Vicarage Road, having signed an 18-month deal from Creteil.
