Till considers Grimsby deal

Birmingham winger Peter Till is considering an offer to stay at Grimsby permanently.

Birmingham City winger Peter Till is considering an offer to stay at Grimsby Town permanently.

Till linked up with the League Two club in late November, having spent a spell on loan at Leyton Orient earlier in the season.

Grimsby have agreed a deal with Birmingham and now Till admits he is assessing the chance to stay at Blundell Park.

"I've spoken to Steve Bruce and I am now weighing up my options," Till told the club's official website.

"Steve's told me his views on the offer and I will now go away and think about it.

"I've really enjoyed it here and I think I am an Alan Buckley type of player."

Mariners boss Buckley added: "We are trying to make Peter Till's loan deal a permanent one and things are pushing on with that.

"We have been talking about it with him for a week or so and hopefully we can sort that out."

Buckley is also hoping to extend the loan deals of Stoke City duo Martin Paterson and Anthony Pulis.
