Dyer gets move

Coventry City have won the race to sign West Brom's Lloyd Dyer.

Coventry City have won the race to sign West Brom's Lloyd Dyer.

Baggies boss Bryan Robson had revealed a number of clubs were keen to snap the 22-year-old up on a loan basis before this week's transfer deadline.

A deal has been agreed to take Dyer to Highfield Road for the remainder of the season and he will assist The Sky Blues in their bid to beat relegation to League One after the West Midlands club dropped into the bottom three at the weekend.

"We've had our eye on Lloyd for a while," City boss Micky Adams told Coventry's official website.

"He's got terrific pace and, hopefully, will give us the little spark we are looking for."

Dyer, who has previously had a loan stint with Kidderminster Harriers, has not played in 2005 for Robson's side.
