Zoltan Gera has spoken of his frustration following his recent injury nightmare.The West Brom midfielder, 27 next week, has missed most of this season through injury and he admits it was annoying for him to be sidelined for so long.
"The worst thing about my injury was that the doctors couldn't say properly what was wrong with me," he told skysports.com.
"Let's suppose I break my leg then everyone knows how long it takes to recover but mine was a more different and mysterious case.
"I have suffered a lot during these six months, but I think I'm able to develop more and I feel that my stamina will be perfect very soon."
Gera admitted that he was now feeling much more settled in England.
"My English is getting better and better, I understand everything, as well as the tactics that Bryan Robson tells me," he continued.
"I play in the same part of the pitch like as last year, it's the right side of the midfield. The boss asked me to attack on the right side and go forward to catch the crosses. But he added that I shouldn't be stressed, he won't expect me to win the game for the team on my own.
"I have felt in the last three weeks that I'm my old self. I know this from the reaction of my team-mates - they told me that it's visible I'm very speedy again and my dribbling is the same.
"There are not too many games left this season and I hope I will play even better against Arsenal. I can play the whole 90 minutes, but I still don't do all the tricks I would like to - what I miss is a bit of more dynamism."
Speaking of next year Gera insisted he wanted to stay in The Premiership, but with West Brom.
"I want to play in The Premiership next year - but in West Bromwich Albion," he continued.
"I don't care about any transfer gossip and I'm sure if a team wants to sign me they will speak about it to West Brom and me first and not to journalists."
