Sheff Wed have refused to comment over possible fresh move for Leon Best.Sheffield Wednesday boss Paul Sturrock has refused to comment on if he will make a fresh move for Southampton striker Leon Best.
The Hillsborough boss had taken the 19-year-old on loan at the start of the season, but Best had to cut short his time with The Owls after breaking a bone in his foot.
The teenage talent has since recovered to make three appearances for The Saints this term, while a number of rival Championship clubs are seemingly keen on the hit-man.
Sturrock's old club Plymouth Argyle have had a prior interest, while reports suggest Crystal Palace boss Iain Dowie is keen to bring him to Selhurst Park before the January transfer window closes next week.
With speculation surrounding Best's future, Sturrock refused to discuss if he had any interest in re-signing the striker again this season.
"I won't discuss anything like that at this juncture," Sturrock told skysports.com.
It remains to be seen if Best will move on from St Mary's or if he will earn more first-team opportunities under Saints boss George Burley.
