Harper extends Saddlers stay

Kevin Harper's loan spell at Walsall has been extended until the end of the season.

Kevin Harper's loan spell at League Two side Walsall has been extended until the end of the season.

The Stoke winger moved to the Bescot Stadium on an initial one-month deal in February but will now remain with the League Two high-flyers to see the term out.

Harper has scored two goals in four games for the Saddlers, who are currently second in the league behind Hartlepool.

The 31-year-old has made just four appearances for the Potters this season.

Meanwhile, Walsall youngster Alex Nicholls has extended his loan stay with Conference side Burton Albion.
