Tyson still keen on Cardiff

Nathan Tyson has reaffirmed that Cardiff would be an acceptable option to him.

In-demand Wycombe striker Nathan Tyson has reaffirmed that Cardiff would be an acceptable option to him for his next move.

Tyson, the leading goalscorer in League Two this season, is widely expected to leave in January and he has already stated his desire to quit Wycombe.

Cardiff failed with a bid on transfer deadline day, while Sheffield Wednesday have also seen their attempts to land him rebuffed.

Premiership side Wigan have also been linked and it seems the former Reading man will have a number of options when the transfer window reopens in January.

Asked whether he would still take a move to Cardiff, Tyson confirmed he would.

"If I have the chance to join Cardiff, I'd have no problems with that," the 23-year-old told the Western Mail.

"Cardiff's fans are the sort I would be very comfortable playing in front of."
