Price set for Wales debut

Ipswich Town goalkeeper Lewis Price could be in line for his international debut.

Ipswich Town goalkeeper Lewis Price could be in line for his international debut for Wales in Saturday's clash against Northern Ireland.

With regular keeper Danny Coyne suffering from a cruciate ligament injury, Price seems likely to replace the Burnley man in the upcoming World Cup qualifiers.

"I've really enjoyed joining up with the squad and if I get my chance against either Ireland or Azerbaijan then it will be great," Price told Ipswich's official website.

"If it doesn't work out like that then I'll continue to work hard and hope my opportunity will come along next time," he added.

Despite having no chance of qualifying for next year's World Cup, Price insists there is plenty to play for, as they seek victory over their British rivals and minnows Azerbaijan in order to avoid finishing bottom of Group Six.
