Canaries extend Jarvis deal

Norwich City striker Ryan Jarvis has signed a new two-year contract with the club.

Norwich City striker Ryan Jarvis has signed a new two-year contract with the Championship club.

The 19-year-old's new deal will keep him at Carrow Road until the summer of 2008, with his previous deal due to expire this summer.

Along with younger brother Rossi Jarvis, the striker will hope the new contract can help him make more of an impact after a injury-plagued season with The Canaries.

"I'm very pleased," Jarvis told the club's official website.

"I had come to the end of my contract and wondered where my future lay, so to get two more years at the club I love is tremendous.

"This season has been a nightmare as I've been injured most of the time, so I've been very low.

"I'm pleased to get two more years and I can't wait to start afresh next season."
