League One round-up

Hartlepool missed the chance to move fourth after being held to a 2-2 by Peterborough.

Hartlepool United missed the chance to move fourth and dropped to sixth after being held to a 2-2 draw at home by Peterborough United.

Pools looked to be cruising at half time as they were 2-0 up after goals from Joel Porter (pictured, 22) and Tony Sweeney (36).

However, Posh bounced back in the second period and managed to level within ten minutes and it came from two half time replacements as Richard Logan (49) and Callum Willock (55) both fired home.

Bournemouth took advantage of Hartlepool's draw by securing a fine 2-0 success over Bristol City at Ashton Gate.

The Cherries knew victory would almost see off the home side's play-off aspirations and they did it with two goals from midfielder Garreth O'Connor (60 & 77 pen).

Relegation-threatened Wrexham were denied a valuable victory at Oakwell as Barnsley came from behind to secure a 2-2 draw.

Daniel Nardiello (26) gave The Tykes the lead, but goals from Darren Ferguson and Chris Llewellyn gave the visitors hope of a famous win.

However, on-loan star Michael Chopra swooped to level with just 18 minutes left.

Wrexham are now eight points adrift of safety with just one game in hand.
