Division Three Round-Up

Oxford maintained their one point lead at the top of Division Three after a hard fought away win at Rochdale.

Steve Basham on 30 minutes (pictured) and Julian Alsop (51) had put Ian Atkin's side 2-0 up at Spotland but they had to endure a nervy finish after Gary Jones cut the deficit in half on 54 minutes.

Hull continued to struggle as they lost 2-1 at Bristol Rovers with Junior Agogo grabbing the winner with just three minutes left.

Ben Burgess had put Hull in front after five minutes but on-loan Ryan Williams equalised on 33.

Doncaster picked up three points at the expense of bottom placed Carlisle, Leo Fortune-West grabbing the only goal after 68 minutes.

Mansfield moved into the top three thanks to a 3-0 win over Northampton.

Liam Lawrence converted a penalty on 66 to make it two after Isyeden Christie had opened the scoring after five minutes. Craig Disley added a third with ten minutes to go to for The Stags.

Swansea's visit to York ended in stalemate with the main action in the game coming after 19 minutes when the home team's Richard Hope and the visitor's Lee Trundle were dismissed for violent conduct.

Yeovil had to come from behind for victory at home to Lincoln after Simon Yeo had given The Imps the lead five minutes after half-time.

Colin Pluck made it 1-1 just four minutes later and Adam Stansfield (85) and Jamie Gosling (90) added late goals to give Gary Johnson's men the win.

Huddersfield had to settle for a point after a goalless draw with Cheltenham at The McAlpine.

Darlington missed the chance to move out of the bottom two when they let a two goal lead slip at home to Scunthorpe.

Barry Conlon put them in front six minutes before the break and Neil Wainwright made it two on 59, but Ryan Valentine and goalscorer Conlon were then dismissed and The Iron drew level thanks to Steve Torpey (70) and a penalty from Peter Beagrie eight minutes from the end.

Torquay enjoyed a comfortable home win over Southend with Tony Bedeau opening the scoring on 45 minutes and two goals in two minutes from Matt Hockley (52) and David Graham (54) making the three points safe.

Leyton Orient enjoyed a magnificent away day at Cambridge with goals from Wayne Purser (17, 45) and Lee Thorpe (34) wrapping up the points before half time.

Justin Miller added a fourth nine minutes after the interval and the home side managed a late consolation from John Turner with seven minutes to play.

Boston fought back to draw 2-2 with Kidderminster thanks to two goals from Adam Boyd (62 & 69).

Jan Molby will be disappointed to have lost a two goal lead after his side had gone two up through Craig Hinton's penalty on 35 minutes and Andy White on 54.

Macclesfield enjoyed a home win over Bury thanks to a Matthew Tipton strike on 25 minutes, a result that lifts them away from the bottom two.
