Peter Taylor has rubbished reports of a bust-up with Curtis Woodhouse.

Peter Taylor has rubbished reports of a bust-up with Curtis Woodhouse.

The Hull City midfielder has sat out the last two games, sparking rumours of a fall-out with the Tigers boss.

But Taylor says that such talk is nonsense: "I don't think there's anybody happy who's not playing.

"But the ridiculous rumours I've read are not correct."

Meanwhile, Nick Barmby has backed City to climb away from the relegation zone, as he told the Hull Daily Mail: "It's a result business. It's not about being pretty. It's about getting points.

"The lads are confident and hopefully in the second half of the season we can show we are capable of doing well in this league."
