Myhill makes Hull vow

Boaz Myhill has pledged to stay at Hull City and help the club into The Premiership.

Highly-rated keeper Boaz Myhill has pledged to stay at Hull City and help the club into The Premiership.

Myhill has been an impressive figure between the posts for Hull this season and has played an integral role in the club staying in The Championship.

The former Aston Villa trainee's performances have attracted admiring glances from top-flight clubs, with suggestions he could be offered a move in the summer.

But the 23-year-old is happy to remain at The KC Stadium and has no plans to pursue any interest from Premiership teams.

"It was nice to be linked with Premiership clubs," commented Myhill.

"But then I don't know anything about it myself. I'm young. I've only played 120-odd games.

"I am not really interested in a move into The Premiership if it would mean settling for being a substitute every week, maybe for a bit more money.

"My goal is to play there, but a lot stranger things have happened than Hull getting into the Premier League."
