Leeds continue to trail Wrexham starlet

LEEDS UNITED are continuing to keep tabs on Wrexham starlet Craig Morgan.

The 18-year-old made his first-team debut on Saturday and was watched by Elland Road chief scout Adrian Heath.

Leeds sent scouts to watch the youngster in action during the summer during the Isle of Man festival and now they have been back to see him again.

Bournemouth inflicted a rare home defeat on The Red Dragons, but Morgan still put in an admirable display.

Wrexham boss Denis Smith hailed his young defensive star.

"I wasn't at all surprised by his performance," he said.

"He's got the range of passes, he is strong in the air and he's quicker than you think.

"There are still elements of his game that need to be improved but he knows that as well as me and we are working on them."
