League One Round-Up

Nottingham Forest maintained their unbeaten start to the League One season.

League One leaders Nottingham Forest maintained their unbeaten start to the season, but they lost their 100 percent record as they drew 1-1 at Huddersfield Town.

Forest took the lead at The Galpharm Stadium, as Grant Holt diverted a Sammy Clingan cross into the net.

Colin Calderwood's men were looking for their fifth straight win, but they were denied late on by The Terriers.

The leveller came from Gary Taylor-Fletcher (pictured), as he stooped to head home after Danny Schofield's shot struck the bar.

Port Vale missed the chance to go top of the table and leap above Forest as they slipped to their first defeat of the season as they lost 1-0 at Yeovil.

Paul Terry grabbed the only goal of the game at Huish Park after just five minutes.

Bradford remain third after they came from behind to claim a 1-1 draw at home to Yorkshire rivals Rotherham.

Will Hoskins had put The Millers ahead after half an hour, but Dean Windass rescued a share of the spoils with his late strike.

Brentford remain unbeaten after a 1-1 draw at Scunthorpe. Jo Kuffour (39) had put The Bees ahead, but John Mousinho's own goal (69) meant the points were shared.

Tranmere climbed into fourth after a 2-0 win at Chesterfield.

Rovers went ahead on the stroke of half time when Aaron Downes put through his own net and the win was sealed just after the hour when Gareth Taylor pounced.

Swansea recorded their second successive league victory as they won 1-0 at Leyton Orient.

Justin Miller was sent off early on for the home side and Swansea took advantage as Leon Knight struck just after the interval.

Knight himself was then red carded, but Swansea managed to hang on to claim all three points.

Cheltenham edged a five-goal thriller at Whaddon Road against Millwall.

Grant McCann's penalty (14) gave The Robins the lead, but Millwall raced into the lead thanks to Derek McInnes (24) and Marvin Williams (44) - and this was despite having goalkeeper Lenny Pidgeley sent off on the half hour.

Millwall, though, could not hang on as Kayode Odejayi (67) and JJ Melligan struck for John Ward's men.

A last minute penalty gave Bournemouth a 1-1 draw at Doncaster. Lewis Guy had put Rovers ahead on the hour, but James Hayter scored from the spot in the dying seconds to rescue a point for the visitors.

The final game of the day saw Gillingham claim a 1-1 draw at Blackpool.

Guylain Ndumbu-Nsungu fired The Gills ahead after just three minutes but Scott Vernon (35) was on hand to seal a point for the home side.
