Forest trial for young bairns

NOTTINGHAM FOREST will hand Falkirk starlets Mark Kerr and Lee Miller the chance to impress during a week's trial at the end of the season.

Forest travel to France at the end of the season and Kerr (pictured) and Miller will leave Brockville Park to join them for the week.

City Ground boss Paul Hart has developed a young and exciting side at Forest and is looking for young talent that he can break in relatively cheaply.

Bairns boss Alex Totten confirmed that the pair would be joining Forest for a week in a bid to impress Hart enough to be offered deals.

"Lee and Mark are going with Forest at the end of the season and will spend a week training with them in May," said Totten.

"Forest have a tournament in France and they would like the boys to go with them and the boys have said they want to go.

"They want to watch them in games I think and I would never stand in the way of any of my players moving on, that's not saying that something will come from this but we'll have to wait and see."

Midfielder Kerr has played 58 games for Falkirk at just 20, while 19-year-old striker Miller has banged in 11 goals this season from just 24 games.

Hart has spotted the promise in both youngsters and they could be handed the chance to show their skills in Division One.
