Nottingham Forest striker David Johnson is facing disciplinary action from the club.Nottingham Forest manager Gary Megson has admitted he will take disciplinary action against striker David Johnson.
The former West Bromwich Albion boss was upset with the former Bury and Ipswich Town hit-man after the 28-year-old refused to relay a message to his team-mates during Saturday's 1-0 FA Cup win over League One strugglers Peterborough United.
Johnson was substituted by Megson with two minutes remaining, but not before the striker refused to pass on his manager's instructions on the pitch.
Megson admitted he will take action against Johnson, with a hefty fine expected to be handed down by the Forest manager.
"I will be taking disciplinary action," Megson said. "I asked David to pass on a message to the players while he was warming up on the touchline.
"For some reason, he took exception to that.
"His response was that I should give the job to one of my backroom staff instead.
"He wasn't happy, I wasn't happy."
Meanwhile, fellow Forest striker Craig Westcarr has returned to The City Ground after completing his loan with League Two side Lincoln City.
