Latics release quartet

OLDHAM ATHLETIC have told four out-of-contracts players that they will not receive new deals at Boundary Park next season.

Canadian international striker Carlo Corazzin (pictured), goalkeepers David Miskelly and Duncan Roberts and midfielder Wayne Gill have all been released by The Latics, following their Division Two play-off exit to Queens Park Rangers on Wednesday evening.

However, the club have offered David Eyres, Wayne Andrews, Will Haining, Les Pogliacomi and Chris Armstrong new terms while discussions are due to take place with John Eyre, Tony Carss and Julian Baudet next week.

The Latics have also yet to decide to exercise their option of a further year on Darren Sheridan's contract.

Lee Duxbury is set to join Oldham's coaching staff while Clyde Wijnhard is set for a knee operation before waiting on his future outcome with the club.
