Lee Bell looks set to leave Crewe on loan during the January transfer window.The highly-rated midfielder has fallen down the pecking order at Gresty Road this term and has made one appearance, in the Carling Cup defeat to Manchester United.
The likes of Michael O'Connor, Gary Roberts and Ben Rix have been preferred to Bell this season, while Tony Grant is also fit again after injury.
Dario Gradi has no plans to use Bell in his side at present and believes he would benefit from getting first-team experience elsewhere.
Bell broke his foot in pre-season at Southport but is now fully fit and keen to get some more games under his belt.
