Posh extend keeper loan

Goalkeeper Paul Rachubka's loan spell at Peterborough has been extended.

Huddersfield goalkeeper Paul Rachubka's loan spell at Peterborough has been extended by seven days.

The former Manchester United and Charlton man was called in as emergency cover for one week just before Christmas following injuries to Mark Tyler and Luke McShane.

Rachubka has played in Peterborough's last two games, which saw the side go down 2-1 to Lincoln on 21st December before losing 1-0 to Barnet on Boxing Day, and all parties are thought to be open to making the switch permanent if his time with the club is deemed successful.

First-choice keeper Tyler is yet to recover from an ankle problem he sustained in the game against Chester in mid-December, but is hoping to return for his side's FA Cup clash with Plymouth on 6th January.
