The big striker was influential in The Cherries' play-off success that led to the club's promotion to Division Two for next season.
Fletcher, like team-mate Neil Young, has signed a deal in which he will receive an extra year's extension, once he has played 20 matches for the club next term.
He will put pen-to-paper on his new contract later this week, as Cherries boss Sean O'Driscoll ties down some of his key squad members for the upcoming campaign.
The Hartlepool-born striker is a popular figure on the South Coast, and scored a cracking goal in the Play Off final win over Lincoln City.
