Harding pens new deal

Milton Keynes Dons midfielder Ben Harding has signed a new two-year deal.

Milton Keynes Dons midfielder Ben Harding has signed a new two-year deal with the League One club.

The 20-year-old follows Izale McLeod, Gareth Edds and Ben Chorley in committing his future to the Buckinghamshire borough outfit.

The news is a boost for the youngster after his campaign last term was disrupted early on by knee ligament damage.

Despite the injury setback, Harding is determined to have an impact in Danny Wilson's squad this season.

"I'd like to show the manager that I can perform to a level which gets me in the first team and there's no doubt this is a big season for me," Harding told the club's official website.

"I had spells last season which I was really happy with and it was my breakthrough year.

"But with that under my belt, I want to go onto the next level and really start performing on a regular basis at senior level."
