Terrors land ex-Dark Blue

Dundee United have signed defender Lee Mair from Stockport County.

Dundee United have signed their second player of the week with the addition of Stockport County defender Lee Mair.

The 24-year-old returns to Tayside after putting pen to paper on a two-and-a-half year contract with The Terrors on Friday.

His return to the Scottish Premier League comes months after Mair left rivals Dundee for English League One club Stockport in the summer.

The former Dens Park trainee, however, has decided his future is best laid back in Scotland after agreeing a deal with Ian McCall's side.

Mair's arrival at Tannadice comes after striker Stevie Crawford joined The Terrors following an unsettling spell with English Championship side Plymouth Argyle.
