Kidderminster Harriers could make a double swoop on Bristol Rovers.
Kidderminster Harriers have extended the loan of goalkeeper Ryan Clarke from League Two rivals Bristol Rovers.Clarke joined the Football League's bottom club after The Harriers lost the services of another loan custodian in Ben Foster after he was recalled by parent club Stoke City last month.
With Kidderminster number one John Danby not yet at full fitness, new Harriers boss Stuart Watkiss has opted to keep the former Pirates trainee for another four weeks at Aggborough.
Another Rovers player that has interested Watkiss is striker Richard Walker, who has admitted his career at The Memorial Stadium is up in the air.
The 27-year-old has failed to make an impact since arriving at Rovers in the summer, with the former Aston Villa trainee turning down an initial offer from The Harriers on Friday.
Despite Kidderminster's interest, Walker is keen to stay with The Pirates and earn his place in Ian Atkins's side.
"I spoke to Kidderminster and they offered me a deal to the end of the season, but it was on a lot less money - and to be honest, with two kids, I just couldn't afford to take it," Walker told the Bristol Evening Post.
"Now, I just have to wait and see whether there's another call from them or it comes to nothing.
"I think Rovers are a club that are going places and I'd still like to be part of that, so ideally I'd like to stay.
"But I'm not in the team at the moment and although that doesn't mean I want to leave, every player wants to be playing football.
"If I went to Kidderminster, got in the team and started scoring a few goals, then it would help them get out of trouble and I'd get noticed, so there are pros and cons either way."
