League Two outfit Rochdale have placed talented wide man Patrick McCourt on the transfer list.The 20-year-old Northern Ireland international is a fans' favourite but has failed to find the consistency to feature regularly in Steve Parkin's first team set-up this term.
Parkin has revealed that the player is not currently at the right level to be playing League Two football on a regular basis.
"I have worked with Patrick intensively since I came back to the club,'' Parkin told the club's official website.
''He has undergone a lot of extra work during this period but I feel he falls short of what we need right at this moment.
"He is undoubtedly a player that will come to the attention of other clubs but until I get what is required from the player, or a satisfactory offer comes in, he will remain on the transfer list.
''He has to show he is willing to give his all for this football club in order for him to stay here."
