Rangers are in talks with Swiss international Hakan Yakin.
Rangers are closing in on the signing of Swiss international Hakan Yakin after opening talks with the player.Yakin has arrived in Glasgow for talks and was in attendance at Sunday's Old Firm derby with Celtic.
Yakin has been looking to leave Stuttgart after failing to secure a regular first team place since his move from Basel last January.
The talented playmaker failed to settle in Germany and is keen to move away for a new challenge.
Rangers are hoping to agree a deal for Yakin before the close of the transfer window on Tuesday.
"We have been working on this over the weekend. I collected Hakan from the airport this morning and he will watch the Old Firm game," Rangers director of football business Martin Bain told the club's official website.
"We will then open up discussions with the player and his representatives tonight and take it from there.
