Le Guen keen on Clement

Paul Le Guen has confirmed that he intends to move for Rangers' Jeremy Clement.

Paul Le Guen has confirmed that he intends to make a raid on former club Rangers for midfielder Jeremy Clement.

Le Guen brought Clement to Rangers from Lyon in the summer, but the coach left Ibrox earlier in the month.

And his exit prompted talk that Clement's days in Glasgow were numbered.

Le Guen wasted little time in finding a new home as he was handed the reins at Paris Saint Germain and he intends to add Clement to his ranks in the French capital.

"It is true that we are interested," said Le Guen. "I had the player in Lyon and in Glasgow.

"He's a young player with experience abroad and at a large club like Lyon. He can play on the left and is able to bring possibilities to us."
