SPL Round-Up

Hearts' winning run was halted on Sunday as they drew 2-2 at Falkirk.

Hearts' winning run was halted on Sunday, but the SPL leaders battled superbly to claim a point at Falkirk.

George Burley's side have been in red hot form all season and they were expected to get the better of Falkirk.

However, things did not go according to plan and they required a late goal from Steven Pressley to salvage a point.

Hearts suffered a double blow on 25 minutes as Craig Gordon was sent off for bringing down Falkirk's Darryl Duffy who promptly dusted himself down to net the resulting penalty.

The capital club slipped further behind on 68 minutes when Pressley unfortunately turned the ball into his own goal, as a clearance thudded into him and rebounded into the net.

Pressley atoned shortly afterwards when heading home a Rudi Skacel free kick and completed the comeback when he headed home from close range in injury to extend Hearts' unbeaten run.

Inverness Caledonian Thistle ensured Hearts' capital rivals Hibernian failed to close the gap on the top four as they snatched victory at Easter Road.

David Proctor and Dennis Wyness did the damage for Caley, as Hibs could only manage a late effort from Steven Fletcher.
