Dundee United heaped more misery on bottom club Dunfermline Athletic with a 2-1 win at Tannadice Park.Collin Samuel gave The Terrors the lead on 25 minutes after latching on to Jim McIntyre's flick to goalkeeper Derek Stillie's long clearance before striking home past Pars custodian Allan McGregor.
Dunfermline levelled six minutes later when Scott Wilson headed home Lee Makel's free kick.
The home side restored their lead for good four minutes before the break, as Barry Robson (pictured) curled his free kick effort around the Dunfermline wall and past McGregor to claim all the points for the Taysiders.
The results leaves Jim Leishman's side three points adrift at the foot of the SPL table.
