Brunel one of three arrivals?

LILLE have settled the signing of Lens winger Philippe Brunel for a fee of ‚é¼1.5 million (£915,000).

The 29-year-old, who was on loan at Marseille, has signed a three-and-a-half year deal with LOSC, and may not be the only new arrival at the club, as two players are currently on trial at Grimonprez-Jooris.

Steve Barbe is one of the men hoping to earn a contract. The former Charlton midfielder failed to make a real impact in England, but is keen to prove his worth in France.

The 23-year-old Belgian has formerly played for RWDM and Harelbeke.

The other player has also been on the books of an English club - Guy Demel.

The Borussia Dortmund defender was formerly with Arsenal.
