Toulouse midfielder Nabil Taider has committed his international future to Tunisia.

Toulouse midfielder Nabil Taider has committed his international future to Tunisia.

Taider had represented France at Under-21 level although feels his prospects will be better served with the African side.

The player, who qualifies through virtue of having dual citizenship, could make his international bow in the upcoming World Cup qualifier against Guinea.

After meeting Tunisian officials the 21-year-old was sufficiently convinced by the quality of the nation's squad to make the important choice.

"I had good contacts with the Tunisian federation chairman, I appreciated his project," said Taider.

"Tunisia is a team for the future with good players, I am sure I made the right choice."

Bastia starlet Chouki Ben Saada also recently made the same choice after representing Les Bleus' Under-21 side.
