Carrasso rallies troops

Marseille goalkeeper Cedric Carrasso has issued a rallying call.

Marseille goalkeeper Cedric Carrasso has issued a rallying call to his Stade Velodrome team-mates.

A run of four straight defeats has seen Marseille slip down to ninth in Ligue 1 and they are now 14 points adrift of leaders Lyon.

L'OM's hopes of wrestling the title from Lyon would appear to be slim, but Carrasso feels the club's fortunes will soon take a turn for the better.

"We have to win every home match and to forget about our bad run," Carrasso told But!

"Since last week, we can see the squad has changed its state of mind.

"Everybody is totally invested, focused, so let's be positive next Sunday."

Carrasso is at a loss to explain their recent run of form, but feels the performance at Lille showed they are on the way back.

"I can't explain why we have been so weak," he added.

"We have lost at Lille, but we have played well.

"Playing well next Sunday will be key."
