Piquionne denies PSG

Frederic Piquionne's last-gasp goal earned St Etienne an unlikely 2-2 draw.

Frederic Piquionne's last-gasp goal earned St Etienne an unlikely 2-2 draw with Paris Saint Germain at the Parc Des Princes.

The St Etienne star struck a minute from time to deny PSG all three points to leave both sides still searching for their first win of the season.

After a dour first half the game burst into life on 66 minutes with Piquionne breaking the deadlock for St Etienne.

The lead was short-lived as Portuguese star Pauleta drew PSG level from the penalty spot.

Bartholomew Ogbeche turned the game on its head with the second to put PSG in front four minutes later.

That looked like being enough for PSG until Piquionne popped in the dying moments with a crucial equaliser.
