An Italian newspaper reported that Simao was set for a move to Turin in the summer, with a fee of around £10 million.
However, the story was quickly written off as rubbish after Barcelona pointed out that their youngster is contracted until 2007 with a release clause of £40 million, and that he was considered a key player for the future of the club.
