La Liga round-up

Barcelona moved 10 points clear of Real Madrid with a 3-0 win over Racing.

Barcelona moved 10 points clear of Real Madrid with a comprehensive 3-0 win over Racing Santander.

Samuel Eto'o, Ronaldinho and Deco did the damage in what proved little more than a training exercise for the classy Catalans.

Barca created and wasted a string of chances in the opening 45 minutes, but Eto'o's classy finish on seven minutes made sure they held a lead at the interval.

Racing were rarely seen as an attacking force, but they could have been level just after the hour had Juliano Belletti not raced back to dispossess Mario Regueiro as he closed in on keeper Victor Valdes.

Barca stepped up a gear after the scare and the bewitching skills of Ronaldinho proved too much for the Racing defence, as his step-overs hypnotised the back four before he curled a shot into the bottom corner.

Deco then put a seal on the win with a deflected goal 15 minutes from time as Barca fired out out a warning to Real.

Two goals in the last ten minutes from Tiko and Julen Guerrero saw Athletic Bilbao come from behind to beat Osasuna 4-3.

The visitors looked to be on course for victory at San Mames, after goals from Pablo Garcia, Pierre Webo and Francisco Punal cancelled out a brace from Francisco Yeste.

However, Tiko and then Guerrero struck to hand the home side the three points.
