Real Betis have signed Barca's Damia Abella, their fourth summer capture.
Real Betis have made their fourth signing of the summer, snapping up Barcelona's Damia Abella.Los Verdiblancos have splashed out é¼1 million (£600,000) for the 24-year-old who has signed a five-year contract.
Abella, who can play at right-back or in midfield, came through the youth ranks at Camp Nou but failed to cement a regular first-team berth.
Last season he joined Racing Santander on a two-year loan deal in January, but that has now been cancelled as he has sealed a permanent move to Betis.
Racing will receive é¼240.000 (£160,000) of the fee paid to Barca by Betis having themselves shelled out for the two-season loan.
Abella is currently injured and may even need minor surgery to correct the problem, but is confident of being fit for the start of the new Spanish campaign.
