Jose Antonio Reyes was delighted to score his first Champions League goal for Real.
Jose Antonio Reyes has shrugged off an injury worry after voicing his delight at scoring his first UEFA Champions League goal for Real Madrid.
The attacker, on loan at Real from Arsenal, netted towards the end of the first half during his side's 5-1 demolition of Dynamo Kiev on Tuesday.
But the Spain international failed to reappear for the second half and was replaced by former England captain David Beckham.
Reyes does not think the back complaint will rule him out of the weekend's derby with Atletico and is simply happy to be enjoying his time with Real.
"I am very happy every day, with the team and the results," said Reyes. "Things are perfect for me at the moment.
"It is not an important injury. It is only a blow to the back after a bad fall, but I will be in good condition for the derby on Sunday.
"I have arrived in Real to play games and the situation is a dream for me.
"To score a goal in the Santiago Bernabeu is wonderful. I want to carry on with this trajectory.
"For us this victory was important after the defeat in Lyon. Dynamo Kiev started the match very well and the score is just."
Brazilian full back Roberto Carlos felt the convincing win over the Ukrainians was the ideal tonic for the Real supporters.
Roberto Carlos said: "The Bernabeu needed a result like this.
"It has been an important win and now we must continue in the same vein.
"The key thing was we functioned as a unit, scored five goals and could have had more."
