Racing Santander will be without Javier Arizmendi for the next six weeks.
Racing Santander have been dealt a blow with the news that striker Javier Arizmendi is set to miss the next six weeks of the season.Arizmendi was rushed to hospital on Saturday where he underwent an appendix operation.
The forward, who is currently on loan at Racing from Atletico Madrid, has been informed that he will be sidelined for around six weeks.
Racing are fighting hard to preserve their Primera Liga status and the absence of Arizmendi for an extended period of time will be sorely felt.
