Racing Santander midfielder Gerardo Torrado is in contract talks.
Racing Santander midfielder Gerardo Torrado has spoken of his contentment in Spain as he begins contract negotiations.The 25-year-old Mexican joined Racing from Sevilla in November of last year and is clearly enjoying life at Estadio El Sardinero.
Torrado admits that his time in Spain has been a mixed experience but that at present, he is willing to remain at Racing.
''I have passed moments in all senses but the experience is beautiful,'' said Torrado.
''In Mexico I am convinced that my contract would be superior but in Spain I am happy as a man and player.
''Racing always fight in the Primera Division but I want more objectives in this club.''
Previously, Torrado is thought to have attracted interest from both Italy and England.
