Espanyol sign Moha

Espanyol have signed midfielder Moha from Osasuna for around £270,000.

Espanyol have made their first summer signing after they agreed a deal with Osasuna for Moha.

The 29-year-old midfielder has signed a two-year deal at the Barcelona club with the two teams agreeing a free of around £270,000 in total.

Moroccan born Moha began his career in Catalunya with Santboia before signing for Liga giants Barcelona where he played in the C and B teams.

After failing to make much impact at Camp Nou, Moha moved to Osasuna in 2000 but was loaned out to Levante for a year then had a six-month spell at Elche CF.

He returned to Pamplona and established himself in Javier Aguirre's side and made 27 appearances, scoring twice last season.

Ernesto Valverde replaced Miguel Angel Lotina as coach of Espanyol last month and has moved quickly to secure the signature of Moha.
